Amplifying Open Source’s Policy Influence
Every year, at the end of January and the beginning of February, thousands of people around the world come to Brussels to discuss open source and open technologies. The main attraction FOSDEM, Europe’s largest open source conference gathers developers, community members, policymakers, and innovators.
Around it, an entire week of side events, workshops, and meet-ups has grown, now known as the EU Open Source Week, including OpenForum Europe’s own EU Open Source Policy Summit and the European Open Source Awards (hosted by the European Open Source Academy (EOSA). For anyone passionate about open technology, digital policy, and EU developments, the week offers the chance to meet policymakers and open source leaders shaping Europe’s digital future.
