On November 3rd and 4th ALASCA will be hosting its second ALASCA Summit in Dresden. The focus of this year’s summit is on Europe’s digital sovereignty. In the face of geopolitical tensions and the dominance of foreign tech giants, it is crucial for Europe to regain control over its digital infrastructures and data. 2025 is not just about new technologies, but also about protecting European values such as data protection, data sovereignty and open standards. Only with a sovereign digital infrastructure can Europe survive as an independent player in the digital era.
